A visit to another holiday resort - Praia da Rocha - with its spectacular beaches and views from the 16th century Sta. Catarina fort (free time) continuing into Portimão centre. Free time to get all your presents in one go. Very good handicrafts, crystal, leather goods and fashion items as well as a stop on the way home for free wine tasting. Portimão is the shoe shop centre of the Algarve.

While you are here in Portugal you cannot miss this wonderful opportunity to visit our capital. We will enter Lisbon via the impressive 25th Abril suspension bridge (with unbelievable views). Our visits include - Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Monument of the Discoveries, Alfama (old Jewish sector). Free time for shopping, visiting St. Georges Castle or just wondering around this enchanting city, followed by a visit to the site of the Expo'98. If you only have time for one tour, then this has everything. A chance to visit the mountains and see some remains of its Moorish and Roman existence. Silves (The old Moorish Capital) castle and cathedral. Climb the Monchique Mountains to Fóia - the highest point of the Algarve. Free time for wine tasting and taking of spectacular photos. We will then make our way down to the mountains to our lunch stop (included). After lunch we will journey over to the beautiful town of Lagos - indoor slave market (the first in Europe), Saint Anthony's golden church, fort and old town. Afterwards we continue on to Cape Saint Vincent, the most south-westerly point of Europe, known as "the End of the World". This tour is for those who would like to see the real Algarve, its hidden villages, its beautiful countryside and a chance to see the Algarve and its people as it has been for centuries before. We start off with a visit to one of the highest parts of the Caldeirão mountains with a short coffee stop with fantastic views. We then carry on into the hills with stops at various villages with handicrafts being demonstrated.
